Q: Why Do the DVDs Cost So Much?
A: The DVD program is somewhat more expensive than satellite, so you are balancing cost vs. convenience. The satellite is certainly the more cost-effective option if you are going to be using a lot of classes. On the other hand, getting a year's worth of classes at one time, already recorded for you, is certainly convenient and one of our strong advantages.
Q: What about the printed handouts that the presenter prepared to go with the presentation?
A: The DVD subjects come with teacher handouts (reproducible for additional students in the same family). If you plan to re-teach a subject and utilize the reuse program with younger students, you can copy the student handouts yourself. Additional copies are subject to additional fees and availability. These handouts include the following:
- K-6 -- Mom's Minutes
- 7-12 -- Teacher Tips
- 9-12 -- BJ LINC Handouts* (tests, answers, and much more)
These include the same packets that the facilitators for BJ LINC schools receive. Please note that non-BJ LINC subjects have Teacher Tips.
Q: When can I order?
A: You can order year round or whenever you need help with that subject that gives you trouble.
Q: Can I reuse the DVDs with more than one student in my home?
A: Yes. If your children are using the program concurrently, or if you purchase the reuse option.

A: MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE: BJ HomeSat Subscriber has the right to a full refund of DVD costs, excluding any shipping costs paid at the time of the initial order, if not satisfied within the thirty (30) days from ship date. Q: Do you provide tests and answers for the home student?
A: You need to look at the grade level under consideration. BJ HELP classes (Grades K-12) are produced in a live-to-tape non-interactive environment and use the BJU Press curriculum. Some of these courses have tests and answer packets as "recommended material." (See the Recommended Materials order form for the class and grade level you are considering.) After enrolling for your classes, you will receive packets that include printed Mom's Minutes and other support materials. In high school classes (which are presented live), the home-school student will receive all the tests and handouts that the BJ LINC (Live Interactive Network Classroom) teacher has prepared, as well as student notes, teacher notes, and keys to tests and quizzes. Although the home students do not have live interactivity with the BJ LINC teachers, most of their questions are answered when the BJ LINC teacher responds to the questions asked by the Christian school students.
Q: Do you have an entrance exam to see where the student should be placed?
A: BJU has a testing department (1-800-845-5731) to help with your needs. Also, you may wish to consider the benefits of BJU's Academy of Home Education (1-877-242-4348) regarding record keeping, transcript, diploma, and testing service.
Q: How do I know this will work for my home school?
A: We know the K-12 content available through BJ HomeSat has a proven track record of helping thousands of home educators be better teachers by "teaching for understanding." We use distance education technology not a camera in the back of a classroom. Through this technology, tens of thousands of home students enjoy the benefits and have come to rely on this content each day. Remember, we are here to help YOU teach the harder subjects we are not here to replace you. BJ HomeSat helps to make your home school simpler and better.
Q: How soon can I get my DVDs?
